Beautiful birds, and very unique to have blue eggs with that body type! I'm sure you will have a lot of people clamoring to buy some as soon as you are ready to allow them out into the hands of others. The name is beautiful, though a little confusing perhaps, as I initially thought "Maiden" must be a new color variety of Plymouth Rocks. Very lovely, and I will keep subscribed to this thread to watch what happens with this new breed.

Very interesting little birds!

I love their color and shape, they'd look gorgeous scratching around on any lawn (mine especially)! Well done!

Do they go broody? When will you have birds or eggs available?

I must say, I like the comb concept. Very interesting body style also. Remind me a bit of Modern Games as well except they don't have the lovely long legs that I love. (Apparently I'm a leg gal!)

I love the varieties you've chosen but the comb and head is what is just amazing to me on them. Why did you select the comb to look that way? Why no wattles? Is it to prevent frostbite up north? I absolutely love the heads on them.

Congratulations! What a beautiful bird! how much do they weigh? You mentioned that you only started breeding them a few years ago, how well do they reproduce true to type? Also, is the silver male on your website a Maiden Rock? He has a larger comb than the two close up head images.

Yesss! Finally Green Fire Farms has some competition!!!
I love how Green Fire sells birds from your stock, too! This will be good....

Also...

I here by declare the hobby name for the Buff Laced Brahma to be "Powell Brahma" in honor of its founder.

Yes? Yes?!

They do resemble the hamburgs. I noticed one in the background also. The gold ones look a lot like golden hamburgs, were they a major part of the make up. Have you got them to the point of breeding true?
