I think they mean the bands the state tester puts on when each bird is tested. When the MA tester was here in April she mentioned any chickens/turkeys over 5 months old being taken into NH must have a leg band as proof of being tested. That's also what the other NH swaps thread says.Must have a leg band? You mean if I sell in NH I have to band ALL my swap birds?
Does NH realize that ABA legbands cost money? I only band my show birds.
That's why I'm trying to clarify things, since the Dept of Agriculture told aceschix that only proof of the flock being tested is necessary.
