Idea!!! Does anyone have any bored kids that want to make up some signs to post on telephone poles near the fairgrounds??? That would be helpful.

I'm getting to this rather late, but it seems just in time. Is there a webpage that describes ChickenStock 2008? I've gathered from this thread that it is at the Litchfield Fairgrounds on July 27th from 9-1. I have not read through all 26 pages of posts...

Will there be a fee to enter the fairgrounds? A fee to sell chickens? Any registration process?

Are there planned demonstrations? A schedule?

I'm sure it is too late for this event, but I would love to attend a poultry auction sometime. It could even be a fund raiser of sorts (with a buyer's premium kept by the house).

Everything is free, except for the food.

Just a place to buy and sell or trade or giveaway and meet other people with similiar interests. This is our first show so we will see how it goes and make changes for the next show if needed.

There will be raffles and food sold there.

Yip, raffles, food, psychic, reiki (animal & human), crystals, basket weaving, raffle (chinese auction) tickets sold from 10 am will end selling at 11:30 am and raffle drawing a 12 noon. For the folks with basket/crystals/reiki/readings, please please ask questions!
I did ask someone from MOFGA to join in to talk about going organic, no reply so I asked a local organics store in my town if anyone would like to, short notice, but heck its worth a try. Just an educational bit- not sure what will be inspired, but if they come, great and if they don't that is ok too.
I have hung up signs around town, no one has called, but again, who knows, these folks may show up unanounced!
