maine chickenstock!! pictures of the event!!

what we did in milford was try to have an auction call an hour, so that people who didnt want to hang around all day didnt have to, and those who sneak off to have lunch did the winning,,,lol and it also kept peoples interest in it, so it got noticed, what do you think?

I am definitely coming to chickenstock, but I think I want to go to camp tomorrow and leave from there. Is anyone interested in 5 week old Black Star pullets? I am going to just sell them on Craigslist unless someone at chickenstock actually wants them. That way I can sleep at camp tomorrow night without actually toting the pullets along with me. If anyone wants them though, I will stop back at home on my way and get them.

let me know if anyone is interested and I'll bring them along. Selling on Craigslist for 4.00, but will part with them at chickenstock for 2.00/each.

Thanks!

If they are pullets, I bet you will have no problem selling them, but I can understand why you wouldn;t want to camp with a bunch of peeping chicks.

Can someone post directions (or a link) to litchfield? my camp is in otis, live in bangor so I'm trying to figure out if home is on the way, if so I'll bring them.

LOL some of us are still waiting for the chicks to get old enough to lay something - someday maybe I'll have eggs too!

I find that interesting as I never would have thought to bring eggs if someone hadn't asked. I have several dozen that I can bring. I'll dig out my large cooler tonight so I can keep them cool.

Hey, I resemble that winning remark...LOL. I did win the prize video the "Beginers guide to poultry". Bob and I met a real nice couple in the restruant and the woman actually told me that she has thought about having chickens and what better person to pass that on to.
Well, I thought that 10-11:30 ticket sales, 3 for a dollar, and you need to be there for the drawing at 12 noon.
The reason for the "You Need to be there" is that I do not want to haul ANYTHING except non-raffle items that I bring. If anyone thinks other wise, please please let me know!!!

Chinese Auction sounds interesting- its a raffle. I have put $70 into it, along with donations from my area stores. I hope that I can set this up on the way "in" so people can sign the guest book, just so we can find out how many people came and what directions. Full names are optional, with the power of email...they can find us online.

I have the basket maker, psychic and gem and stones lady coming from my area. The two ladies both do reiki, a healing with energy and both work with crystals and different stones. Interesting ladies, please feel free to stop and chat with them, questions and all that stuff.

At this point, I believe my brother and sister-in-law are joining us, if you want to know about antique anything, he is the guy to ask. He can make anything work, even over the phone- ha ha...I'll let you guys in on that at another point.
Ok, let me know what you think, I am sooo excited about meeting everyone on Sunday! Take care and rest up tomorrow!

i was hoping , and spook you may have the perfect idea,,,again
that email addresses for people who are interested in other swaps in other areas on a monthly or so basis, i am trying to gather info to find out what the local interest is, that book could be useful for that,
