Well, be careful. Rabies reports around the state. Again, so sorry.

6 out of 10 gone. Unless you love chickens, others just don't understand. I am so sad. Piles of feathers but 6 birds not found. Our EE and our suspected Marans. Such beautiful birds gone. The live trap's empty but bait is also gone. Fischer cat? Raccoon? Such sadness.

Where in Maine do you live. We are in Baldwin and coydogs got 1 chickens. And 2 ducks. No feathers around except in back field of neighbors thought someone stole them at first. And feathers everywhere for my chickens. Now have 2 chickens left. And panicking for winter that they will stay warm.

We live in Poland and still don't know what got the birds. We set up humane traps with food but never caught anything. (Food always got taken) -a little "sketchy".
