Are you going to stop by in your wedding dress? Seriously, if it's your wedding, I don't need the pattern that bad. Fox just got my last original duck. I am so mad. I was home, it took it right in front of the kitchen window. I have 2 ducks left. I am going to get this fox.

I won't be in my dress. We are exploring the coast for a few days after the wedding. I know we will be in Belfast Sunday. I don't know if they will open. Do you happen to know the name of the shop in belfast? If I had more room and land I would love to have some ducks!

When we go to Youngs Lobster Pound I will look for it and get you it. The coast is our sanctuary. We both love the ocean and it seems no matter how hectic life is at that time, you go there and it clears your mind. :) You already have the one from Trenton right?

Good Morning! I just wanted to share the photos I took of my new girls that I got from LazyGardener. My previous girls were all wiped out because of this stupid Bleeping fox family! The only chicken the foxes didn't get is my polish rooster Count Casameer. He was terribly lonely for a few days, it was really pathetic. But now all is better except they don't seem to want to leave the their perches now!

That's count dancing all around his new ladies!

He's saying, "look how handsome I am, don't you just love my dance moves?" They are saying, "Whatever, dude, where's the food around here?"

This morning, they are staying at the top of the coop! I hope they know how to get outside. They are teenagers, they like to sleep in...

Thanks again Lazy!

Did anyone hear that report on the radio about the threat of bird flu coming with the fall waterfowl migration? They suggested keeping birds "in their runs" to avoid contact with wild birds. Not all my runs are covered, so there is no keeping the wild birds away.

Is anyone planning to keep their birds confined? Even if I did, it seems pointless unless I keep special shoes by the door of each coop, or have some sterilizing solution to step in. I suppose I can wait until I hear about the first report of avian flu in Maine, and then start keeping them locked up then. It would be nice if we never have an outbreak here.
