Wyandottes do occasionally have a single comb, that's a variant, but not the standard.

Wyandottes are also slightly hard to tell sex of, both my GLW and my SLW were hard to sex. They were both girls. They did start to grow wattles early, but they were small and pink and not big and red.

This is my FEMALE GLW at 3 weeks old... see the wattles developing and turning pink? I swore she was a boy. According to the boards, this question is asked a lot, many female GLW get pink like this.

Hey random question...
We ordered some female ducklings and gave permission to add some male warmers if they needed to.
Welllllllll our ducks showed up with 6 chicks (RIRs I think). Just a question but do y'all think they're all males? How possible would it be for them to send st. run warmers instead of male warmers?

Ok SCG, I promised to post photos, but they might not be very informative.
Here are the beginning construction photos of the mobile hoop house, which is just barely started!
Large schedule 80 PVC conduit (gray) with smaller PVC connector pipes inserted:

Bottom framework: (it's divided into 2 sections because we plan to house 2 separate groups of chickens in there)

Bent chain-link fence post forms the hoops. You can buy different size benders:

The hoop ends fit perfectly into the white pvc pipe inserts. They're pretty much held by gravity right now, but he'll add a screw later, and the roofing material holds them in place too.
Since this photo was taken, all that has been added are the purlins (roof structure that runs perpendicular to the hoops), so as you can see, it is nowhere near ready to house a chicken! The snow kind of stalled the work, but hopefully there will be progress soon.

expect you got all males.
