They are over $4 in our health food store here. They are selling.Yeah, $3 is kinda in line for roadside eggs, but not anymore. The eggs at the Belfast co-op "free range" are going for $6 and up, so...when I told someone buying actually 6 FRIGGIN' DOZEN I told him I could sell those to you for $3, he was amazed (city folk LOL). He was too lazy to drive out and get them, maybe I should work out of the parking lot (just kidding). I've seen them roadside around here anywhere from $2-$4, so you're in the range. Problem is, if you raise your price, your regulars might have an issue, they will complain about anything and let you know it. Maybe you can size them, sell the jumbos for more? Tried that once and it worked ok. The only thing with that is people will switch eggs around sometime. Maybe put your med-lg out one day and your jumbos out another to resolve that issue. Good luck, we're all in for an expensive winter. Trying to stock up now before the feed goes sky high.
Sorry about your catI was sooooo tempted to go to ARL and just browse. Lord know I would have brought home another critter too. If it were not for husband keeping me in check I would have a full on menagerie and be a crazy old cat/dog/chicken lady.

. Their names at the shelter were Tom and Jerry. Haven't decided if I will keep the names or change them.![]()
Loosing animals is hard. They are like family to me- right on for adopting the new couple though! I'd like to hijack the thread for just a second to tell everyone how SUPER IMPORTANT ADOPTION is! our kitties are shelter cats and the dog is a rescue from down south- their are soo soo many pets in need of homes, and they are forever grateful when you rescue them too![]()
Right onWhile my chickens aren't rescues I do have a few ducks that were. Of the five dogs in the house four are rescues (two shelter, one street roamer and one breeder placement). All the cats are rescues (three shelter and one showed up on the doorstep). The goats were home foreclosure rescues and the Mustang is a BLM rescue. Now if someone would just rescue me and give me a great home where money is no object I would be forever grateful.![]()
