so they new rooster is fitting in, doing all his rooster things....and well, I have one hen, my buff orp Peaches...who whenever he hops on top of any of the other ladies, goes and sticks her face right in their faces??? I think this is rather rude, and would like to know what is up what that?!

Just got back from the interview. It took about an hour and a half. Next step is with the district manager and possibly a manager from another store.That wouldn't be until next week. I think I did well but who knows. I was honest and gave thought to my answers. Asked some questions. I have the animal and hobby farm experience they need and management experience. Can't think of any reason why I shouldn't move forward in the process. Now I just have to wait.

I know. It is always the same thing. I have x amount of applications to go over. Or I have a few more people to interview. We'll be in touch.

I did hear back from the vet tech job I interviewed for last week. It was thanks but we need someone with more current experience. I knew that going in so I wasn't surprised. At least they let me know unlike most employers who never give you an answer.

I've spent a bit too much time today thinking about chickens...

Created a blog, searched for chickens, made blog post, looked up heritage breed chickens, posted picture of doggy on blog, search for friendly and broody chicken breeds, another doggie post, another search for chickens and the pattern continued...

So my plan is to attend the CMBF meeting this Sunday. Even have those handy, dandy, directional thingy-ma-bobs all ready to go. Figure at least I'll get to meet some of you ladies.
