I am looking for someone who is hatching Mille fleur d'uccles. I would like 4-12 females and can travel or will pay shipping.

I have a few mille fleur pullets for sale. Some that are four months old and some that are two months old.

They are $15 each. I live in Temple, ME, which is near Farmington, ME

The next meeting of the Central Maine Bird Fanciers will be held on January 13, 2013 at the Evening Star Grange Hall in Washington, Maine. The Grange is located on the south side of Old Union Rd in Washington off Rt 220. Building opens at 11 am. Pot Luck Lunch at Noon (please bring something). Meeting at 1 pm. Erik Nelson will do a program on Judging Poultry and What a Judge Looks For. Meeting will conclude with a 50/50 raffle and Auction.

I did a head count today - counted the birds in the barn and the birds in the "Chick Room"

I have 62 Bantam Cochins, 9 LF Cochins and 34 Belgian Bearded d'Uccles.

I didn't count the 18 chicks that just hatched.

I have plenty of varieties ready for the 2013 show season

Just had a thought as I try and make arrangements to have eggs shipped here. Should I be worried about the cold temps???

Depends on where they are coming from and the temperatures in between. I've had some shipped this time of year and had excellent hatches. And looking ahead for the next week highs should be above freezing and lows in the 20's. At least around here. I would be more concerned in the middle of summer if the temperatures are really high. Just make sure you let them set and rest for a while after receiving them before starting incubation.
