Maine

Adorable. Looks like she may have had too much Octoberfest in the first picture :)

She looks like she has made herself right at home.

Am freaked out!!!! My daughter found poop along the woods at first I thought my son didn't do a good job disposing from our dogs. Then yesterday the dogs toys were along the same edge!!!! And now the dogs are at the slider growling towards the woods. I think I need to set up a camera!!! Jeepers I'm a wreck for my girls!!!

Nice looking dog Redneckchicken. Foster pup: does that mean that you'll keep it until an adoptive family comes along... or you'll keep it until it worms it's way into your heart and you couldn't possibly give it up???

Thanks all for the plea for blood. I realize that not every one can deal with the process. For those who can, thanks. For those who can't, that's ok. There are lots of other ways to help those around us!

My girls had a lovely day playing in the yard. We made the rounds of the edge of the lawn repeatedly with them following the "pied piper" to snatch up all of the Japanese beetles that I knocked down for them. They had quite the discussion when I offered them a tomato horn worm that was bigger than my thumb. "We" also planted some winter lettuce, and I'm going to start some swiss chard tomorrow. (I'm so thankful for the local hardware store where they'll go rummage around in the storage room for the seeds that have been packed away!!!!!) My cats are very busy doing rodent control. I'm thankful for that, my 7 y.o. not so much. She went on a rant about how important it is to "take care of nature" when the cat dispatched a chipmunk, and I didn't intervene.

we'll have her til she is ready to be adopted. she has already wormed her way into my heart but I don't think I can handle 3 dogs for a very long time. plenty of yard space but the house it just to small at this point. but she is a wicked sweetheart and deff a daddies girl.
