Stumphenge sounds fun. 15 people is a lot to feed all at once. I ran away from all the birds for the day... and all the chores nagging, off to the beach for about half an hour and then home again to answer the nagging.

We finally had our first cochin chick hatch out of my son's birds, late hatching season for us, but so cute:

That little cochin is adorable! It looks a lot like the one we lost a few weeks ago.

Pearl and my son had some quality bonding time this morning. She was also introduced to my indoor kitty and tried to peck her nose. No fear in this chick.

I've got two chickens that have sneezed. Odd? I thought so. Maybe 6 or 8 times then nothing. Haven't noticed it at all in the coop, only outside.

Is it anything I should be concerned with or just let it run and keep an eye on it?

Tried to get a video but one of the buggers decided to jump on my arm. Just grabbed a picture of em foraging instead.

I like the photo, Jazor. I do not have much chicken experience, however, there have been a few times where I've noticed one sneeze many times in a day. I've just watched it and (thankfully) it's always gone away. Can't say I've ever had two doing it at once, though... am interested to hear what others say. Chicken allergies?

Jazor, I went on a freak out session a week or so ago when my chicks started sneezing. I finally decided that if I was in their little tractor, that I'd be sneezing also. I think they just do that sometimes. One of my girls went through a period a couple of months ago where she was doing a nasty wheezing sound with every breath. She sounded like a squeaky set of bellows. I finally figured that she got a feather stuck in her craw. It lasted less than 24 hours. As long as they are bright eyed, have no discharge issues, and are eating and acting normal, I'd not worry about it.
