Tomorrow, I start my collection of bagged leaves. Folks don't know that they are giving away an incredible bounty in those bagged leaves! Last year, I got 100 bags of leaves. Had to ration them out here and there to make them last all season!!!

i bet a landscape company would love to dump a truckload in your yard for you, they use those sucker-upper machines now and they get nice n compacted

No such thing out here in the boonies! All leaf collection is done by the home owner, and they are responsible for their own disposal.

lol, i blow mine into the woods, and by 'i' i mean my husband lol, the leaves can stay where they land as far as i'm concerned

Leaves are a valuable commodity for me. I'm surrounded by woods. Back and neck issues make raking them an impossibility. Hubby uses the bagger on mower to do a final pass to get them off the lawn. I then collect as many bags as I can get my hands on, and carefully ration them out into the run, garden, coop, green house, orchard, and HK.

We picked up enough bags of leaves to fill the bed of the truck today. The lawn they came from was completely littered with more leaves to be raked. The home owner says she'll bag the rest of her leaves for me. I told her I'd reimburse her for the price of her bags. Win/win situation for me!
