Anyone have light brahmas??
one of my friends wants to hatch some 

I only have one light Brahma, but she is a favorite. She is 7 years old, so I don't expect her to stick around much longer.

Very Nice pillow Chem. It must be working cause today turned out fairly well here in Clinton. I may take my EE's out to the small coop for the day tomorrow.

First day out for my Easter Eggers. Naturally they are staying inside the coop where it's warmer. Glad to have them outside finally but will most likely bring them back in the house for a while since the blasted store bought coop doesn't have a door. They seem comfy though. My Littles (4 week old Australorps) aren't happy to have the bigs gone and seem a bit scared to be alone.
I am glad to have them separated for now. Gave me more time to check out the AO's and it's looking like I only have 2 Roosters there. This is just me guessing since only 2 don't really have tail feathers right now. Guessing since I know roosters feather in slower usually. Don't have any idea about black Australorps though.
I'm still not sure a bout how many roosters I want to keep other than just 1 of each. Although if the AO's are as calm as I've heard I may keep both. Otherwise anyone up for any trading? LOL.

Nellie's daughter arrived at 12:25 PM. She's a little blonde (hopefully) girl! 3 more pips, one on wrong end, so far.

This morning I moved 12 chicks out of the bator, removed the hatching debris. Left 2 wet ones behind to guard the pipped eggs. The dry chicks are settled into a cardboard box with a small HP, some PND water, and some crumble scattered about. It never ceases to amaze me at the miracle of a successful hatch, and the variety of colors that can be seen in a group of chicks all from the same Daddy! Jack should be proud!
