I have a small tupperware type dish with 2 hand towels in to wick water and provide more surface for evaporation. Spoke to a lady in Norridgewock who said my chances of hatching first eggs from a young hen aren't good.
She's of the opinion the eggs will be to weak to be viable. I am still going to attempt it anyways
So far over 6 days the temp has been constant at 100 degrees.
Did have a drop to 98 for a while and a spike to 102 but those are still in hatching range and wasn't for that long.
Bad thing is if they hatch I am 99% sure the father is Jules. While Jules is a beautiful specimen of a rooster. He is also an A hole.
