I am in search of a rooster that is ready to go, and nice to be around. I am looking for a blue laced red wyandotte rooster but will consider a lavender orpington or gold laced wyandotte.
pm me with what you have and what are you are asking price wise and general location (I'm not able to drive to machias) I am in central maine.

Hey Enggass - I'm just down the road in Nobleboro!!

Are you hatching your own chicks? If so, I might be interested in some pullets mid/late summer this year. (I don't have time for chicks this spring, but add new girls each year to my flock & am looking for potential available teens for later this summer.)

Let me know!

Well, I won't be doing anymore hatching this year. Just need to re-home what I've already hatched... Probably a couple of OEs and 6 Barnevelders. The Lav Ams have been spoken for now. I really need to get rid of them 4-8 weeks from now and no later. As soon as they can be sexed, I need to move them out. Let me know if you are still interested.

The 2 chicks settled in fine. My 4 week-olds picked at the leg feathers a few times and then gave it up and they all settled down together just fine. Thank you again!

Good luck with your roosters! I had no problem finding a home for my aggressive EE rooster on Craigslist a few weeks ago, people really want the blue eggers right now. I had to google search the Orloffs. I wish I had better luck with roosters, they are so beautiful. Too aggressive for me.
