I live in Lincoln county (my town is so small that I don't like giving it out publicly, heh). Are you anywhere near it? I'd love to "help"/observe! Thanks!

I haven't been on for a few days, mostly because I just got a new job (!!!) and it WIPES me out, lol. It's nice that we got a little bit of snow. Too bad it didn't stick around!

No idea where Lincoln county is... I'm near Disgusta, so probably not close. Oh well... I'm certain that you can figure it out with the internets help - videos and such... the first time you'll think you don't know what you're doing, but it gets easier the more you do. Just remember that even if you accidentally nick the bowel, it's still "cleaner" than any commercial chicken butcher job that you'd purchase in the store.

Did you ever check it out? I live in Corinna and was thinking of checking their prices. Corn is going through the roof! Currently I'm buying organic layer feed from Paris Farmers and mixing in some cracked corn.

This is Lucy and Ethel, they are faverolle hens, will be 2 in May.They are very friendly. If your in the Aroostook county area they are looking for a new home.My roosters are to hard on them, they are a timid bird so they would be on the bottom of the pecking order. They were in with my orpingtons and did well with the hens but the roosters are young and you know how that is,my orpington roosters are on the large side so I am afraid of them being injured,I took them out yesterday and put them in a cage. They are winter hardy birds, they lay a nice egg about every other day
