**editted to add colors of cockerals**

I'm sure I will have a few, I'm needing to keep back 2 for me. I was just going on here to offer up my extra roos that are going to auction tomorrow if not claimed.
so if you are wanting any young cockerals (6-9 weeks old) I have 2 lavender orpingtons, 1 barred wyandotte, 1 blue/ split lavender opr/wyandotte x and 1 black orpington. if anyone wants one- pm, cheap price.
oh and i have a pet quality salt and pepper calico silkie roo and a blue birchen smooth frizzle roo.
none of these have been outside.

My guineas are reminding me of why I don't really like them. Last night they decided they didn't want to go back in the coop, so they spent all night in a tree next to it. (through all of the snow) They don't seem too bright.

Hoppy, Congrats on getting more of your bloodline back. If you get some roos, I'd be willing to buy one.

last year the last date for baby chicks in bangor was may 3rd but i still wouldnt mind getting some new chicks just to add some new blood to the flock even if they are just hatchery stock

Hi all! It's been a while. I've been busy with my new job, yepyep. This summer, though, I've still got plans to build my coop and get myself some chickens. I really want to find a farm to volunteer at since I really want to get involved with cows, too, but I have no idea where to even look. Just part-time volunteering that is flexible with my schedule... Anyone know of any places?

Hey All,
I have a friend who lost all but one of her flock to a predator. They have fixed the predator situation, but now has a lonely 1yr old hen looking for a friend. Anyone have a hen available around that age in the bridgton/raymond/windham area?
