It's the first day above freezing in months-and the first day that mud bogs have started forming. In an ideal world, the chickens wouldn't be hanging out around mucky puddles and gross mud. The reality is that spring in New Hampshire is mud season (though it's not spring YET!)
With horses, spring mud presents a host of potential health concerns. I'm assuming it's the same with chickens, but I'm not quite sure what to watch for, and what preventative measures I should be taking.
Tips from the pros?
