Ok I have yet another problem, all of my quail, males and females, are all in one big dog cage in my garage because it's cold outside. One day I was just sitting there watching them, and then I noticed that one of my males had it's eye swollen and a bit bumpy around one eye. My theory is that the other dominant males may have picked at their eye? I also noticed other males with the same problem, but I only separated one! It's been a few weeks since I separated him and he's NOT healing. Is there any way I can get him healing faster so I can help the other males too? Because I only had one extra cage and the one that we getting picked on is still healing in there, so I took and old hamper and flipped it keep and covered the eye picked one. But I isn't have anything extra where I could put any others that were picked on. Also is there any way I can keep them from spreading dust everywhere? They make such a big mess. And my father says that we should eat all but 2 males and keep the rest of the females because it's getting colder each night in the garage, so is that a good idea? Thanks
