Speaking of phones.... my contract is apparently up in March! I think I will keep mine though this time but I’m not sure. The 12 pro max is supposed to have an amazing camera but I hate that there’s no home buttons on them now. also super duper expensive. I also love the Pixel’s too now (y’all have sold me ) but I don’t like Google anymore. Might go back to a Galaxy too thanks to Mare but idk. Mine works fine though so I’m probably gonna keep it instead of upgrading for once but it probably won’t work for long. it’s an 8 Plus.

swiping the screen there’s a little bar at the bottom to close current app and then if you swipe diagonally from bottom left, it will give you all open apps to shut down

This crap drove me nuts for one day until I figured out how to get the buttons back.

We were just talking about how thieves get your credit card info. I figured it was due to phishing or unsecured online shopping. But @Fishychix mentioned people get your info via the dark web. I am well aware that’s a no-no place. I’ve never gone there nor have I ever been tempted to go there.

I think the advice we were looking for was, how to keep your info safe online. Which is practically impossible these days.

There are groups of hackers that have scanners that can pick up your credit card info without even getting close to you. Sometimes they just hang out in the malls, stores, or gas stations seeing what they can pickup. My info was scanned at a gas station pump, between towns...when I arrived at my destination, my account had three withdraws of $300.00 each. I drove 200 miles between those two towns.When I received alert text from my bank, I contacted my bank right away. According to the bank info a few days later, they found that my card was hacked at that last gas station and the thieves went to work right away. They recommended to stop paying at the pump.
