I can’t charge it and use it at the same time. I have to gently set it a certain way or it won’t charge. This phone is the iPhone 6s Plus. And I can’t remember if I got it back in 2017 or 2018

But how do they get it in the first place? From online shopping phishing or something?

Dark web. You’ll hear of the deep web also, but they are different things. You can use a VPN or the Duck Duck Go browser to be more secure online, but ..... Idk if it really helps. @Nabiki do you have any advice?

We were just talking about how thieves get your credit card info. I figured it was due to phishing or unsecured online shopping. But @Fishychix mentioned people get your info via the dark web. I am well aware that’s a no-no place. I’ve never gone there nor have I ever been tempted to go there.

I think the advice we were looking for was, how to keep your info safe online. Which is practically impossible these days.

those purchases are typically just to see if the card works and to feed them while they are shopping cc fraud is probably one of the most common crimes that is the least prosecuted. The big one that I had happen, was during Christmas and I filed police reports etc. They flat told me they only have 2 officers locally and even though the purchases were delivered to a location within 2 hours of us, there was no attempt to intercept nor apprehend the recipient that signed for it.

That makes sense!! That seems like A LOT of pizza though! Were they having a shopping party!? sorry, know this must be frustrating! And oh wow!!! that is ridiculous!!! they could at least try to call the state police or FBI or something if they don’t have enough power themselves!? What the heck!!

Oh wow!! do you think it’s an issue with the phone or the charging cord?? Cause I know I’ve thought before that it was the phone but then it was the cord lol

it’s my phone. Even when I buy a brand new charger it does it. With a brand new one it’s easier to hit the spot, but that’s it. The same charger will work perfectly fine on my husband’s phone.
