I’m no good at vent sexing I’ve tried but don’t know what I’m looking at.

At 5 or 6 weeks (I think, it's been a while), a super light squeeze near the vent will show foam if it's a male.

I’ll give it another try to see. I’ve got four all white A&M quails as well and I’ve been trying to sex them. They are suppose to be 9/12 weeks. Then four brown ones and they are supposed to be around 8 weeks. I have one confirmed male because he will crow at me from time to time. I just want to make sure I don’t have more than two males.

I would say female since there is speckles on the chest.

The actual tail part becomes bulbous. I kept googling and found a better video of a bulbous quail tail. So I think I only have 1 male. Out of 8. I was looking directly in to the vent.

Checked out all tails this time only one foamed. One last question. Should I be concerned about this quails legs? I’ve only owned the white ones for a week now. And it’s my first time with quails.
