Just checked on it. heating pad switched of must have done it in the last 30 mins. So I have set a timer for a hr to see if it turns off after a hr if it's still on I'll set it for another hr and go from there.

Set on level 2 is good humidity is a liilt low but just add wet sponge the will bring humidity upWell I did not turn the heating pad on like I thought I did. But I did add something to the incubator/hatcher I just need to seal it in place. Thinking of adding a vent that I can open and close in order to get rid of extra heat if need be. The heating pad on level 3 puts the temp to round 45.5c which is just to high so I started it on level 2 about 15-20 mins ago and the temp is 37.7 with humidity at 34%. That's from the digital stuff. The thermometer I took from the brinsea is treading round 37.5-38.5c
Ya I know the sponge thing was about to do that to...but I think the hubby has been under the kitchen sink now I can't find spongesI posted how to in I just bought balut eggs thread

@pitbullmomma named the ghetto bator!thought about it but the fan has bad the thing stink something bad and don't want to risk it. I have debated about buying a new plug and fan for it but don't feel like blowing £27 or roughly $39 for both. specially when I basically have everything to make a kiki type ghetto incubator
btw I love the term now remind me who it was that came up with that one cuz they need a thank you lol![]()
