SIghhh ~ I know about long lines ~ tomorrow I will be at the precinct booth, starting 6 am, since they are opening the booths an hour early in anticipation of one LOOONNNGGG day! ~ AND we won't be closing till 8 pm ~ then there is all the aftermath.... but at least this year I am Demonstrator ~ that's better than being the Registrar, in fact, we will have 2 this year ~ you just KNOW they will be coming out of the woodwork to vote on this one ~ which I am glad for ~ Nothing like a hot presidential election year to get folks so riled up they actually take an interest & vote. :-D

I certainly plan to exercise my right to vote! But I don't plan to conduct any exorcisms-- unless the other guy wins! Then it's paging Richard Burton!

Hey mods: notice I didn't even name names!

I will be in line. I am not one hoping for empty changes, but one message I do wish to pass on is that a lot of citizens will not vote. I think this is sad, even if they feel differently on candidates. One must vote their minds and hearts.

In many 'other' countries this is a crime, voting is MANDATORY. It is nice we have a choice here no matter who you vote for in the end.

With that said, when are we gonna be able to vote on line or in some other method to avoid nasty lines!!!!

I will certainly be voting tomorrow. My son has been bummed as he thinks he won't get to go, he's in all day Kindergarten and catches the bus before 8am. He has a blast voting because I let him push the buttons for the candidates of my choice. I think I'll surprise him & go vote then drop him at school. I usually go around 8-9am after the early morning "rush".... for the primaries I was only one of 3 people line. One of the perks of very rural areas lol.
