Make sure you exercise your right

5 minutes in and out. One of voters was very funny there she told me to take off my hoodie and pretend I am in the A&P (new jersey supermarket)

One thing I miss about Phoenix is the little mom and pop (madre y padre) mexican resturants. I love my home state (Texas) but mexican food over in your area is better. I used to be a paint contractor over in Phoenix.

I kept the streak alive this year and again voted for myself for President. I know I'm a write-in candidate, but I figure maybe if someone else with teh same name did the same thing, well then I'd have more votes than most people.

And of course, I'm sure there is an FBI file out there somewhere with my name on it.

I just voted and it was quick and easy. Walked in voted and walked out! Nice part of being out in the country. I see in inner cities lines back a few hours and I just have to shake my head! Not that they are wrong for being in the lines just how long they are.

pips&peeps :

I voted by absentee ballot a couple weeks ago. Here in WA most of the State votes this way. I think Oregon is all absentee ballots.

Yes they do. Voting by mail & drop boxes is a great way. I voted by drop box last week. Who needs lines? For the 1st presidential election I had to work late, traffic was bad, I barely made it in time. Then the polling place was full of confused workers and voters.

Voting at home is so much better especially with all these initiatives and charter amendments the ballot takes an hour to fill out. If your state doesn’t allow absentee voting you may want to suggest they consider doing so. I can say enough good things about absentee voting.

I won't be able to vote til around 3 pm. Hubby & I are voting one way, two daughters are voting the other. We are canceling each other out. I'm voting anyway.
