Fat chickens are more a matter of breed than feed.
Proper feed helps them get big faster but I have never heard of a chicken getting fat that was not bred for meat.
High protein feeds will help them reach full potential growth faster.

Is the chicken young?, they will not get "fat" till they are done growing. I have had many small roosters that had very little meat on them at butcher time but lots of fat, from very good feed. Like Cargo said size of the bird is related to breed.

Chicken feed and cracked corn. Cochins grow very slowly and there isn't much you can do except wait.
