I also got some black sex-links from my Black Australorp x RIR

From that cross they won't be sex linked.​

I can't see those being sexlinked...where's the "silver" gene???
You can use a solid rooster on hens with a silver gene...barred, cuckoo, laced, penciled, etc...oh and some whites, but only some, so I ain't messing with that!

Would they be Sexlinks if you cross a buff cochin with a barred rock????

I would think so, but I don't know anything about genetics.

I also got some black sex-links from my Black Australorp x RIR

From that cross they won't be sex linked.

I got 3 black star hens, and 3 black star roosters. The roos had a big white dot, the hens didn't. 3 eggs were Australorp x RIR, 3 were BR x RIR. All hatched.

Anybody need a roo?​
