I made the Rubbermaid bin version, I'm using two, one in the coop and outside... The rain doesn't get into the container... No wet feed here.... Except for in the FF feeder.

Thanks for the pics! That makes me feel better. I'm new to chickens but have Barred Rocks (LF) and three teeny Cochin bantams (who keep the LF in line!Ashley, I have a Sebright and have no issues and a OEGB who is so tiny she stands on the concrete block the feeder sits on.
Good job!!! How about trying a 2 or 3 gallon bucket with 2-3" hole. Bantams will love it.Just finished mine! The tip about running the hole saw in reverse was a life saver--it kept getting stuck and that solved it!
It has two feed ports. I just put it in the run and so far only one was brave enough to try it out, but hoping the rest of the monkeys see and do
