Makes Ya Think Twice Doesn't It

In full agreement with what Sugar Sand Farm said in Post #1, and what the fabulous Miss Jayne said in Post #3.

My heroes are my parents, and every armed forces personnel ever. Plus, the man who died for me.

Thanks everyone I didn't want to start world war three but I felt it should be seen. Emailing this to Obama wouldn't do anything but maybe emailing it to our senators and congressmen would. Think about the house or senate taking a moment of silence for our troops everytime one fell. Your right maybe they would finally understand the gravity of the situation. Ms, Jayne I understand your feeling as well its the same with me Just don't let the nonbelievers have their way. I pray you enough Micki

If Congress held a moment of silence for every American killed in Iraq, and every Iraqi killed by Americans, then they would have to spend all day in silence and get nothing done.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Maybe after that experience they would be convinced to bring the troops home.

I don't know any one over seas, but I still find it disturbing how some people just try and forget about what it going on. If we don't see it in the media anywhere, it mustn't be all that bad right

I honestly don't even quite understand why our men and women are still over there. Those 2 countries have been at war with each other for generations - we aren't going to wipe out that mentality by "sacrificing" our soldiers to their cause... I don't pretend to know a whole lot about what is going on over there, so this is simply my perspective based on the little bit of knowledge that I do have.

I too think they should have a moment of silence for every fallen soldier - maybe it would bring them out of their fantasy world where everything is just perfect...

you are not starting WWIII. people have the choice to believe whatever they choose. i will not argue with them.

but i will not bend. i don't need to be popular, cool etc. i will always follow the rules set forth on this board, because i honor rules. part of following Christ is following rules. until i am told to dishonor God's law. which i have never been on the brink of having to do here. ever.

we can all agree to disagree. we can discuss things without being mean, hateful etc. stating points and facts. you are doing a nice job.
