Making a diy duck waterer

Look at post 2 you can see ducky donnas waterer made out of a bucket. I used buckets I get from the bakery at our grocery store you can cover half so they can’t jump In .
 
If you look behind my Runner you can see my heated buck is half covered with scrap wood

I made this today. Actually just a couple hours ago. They aren't sure of it yet.

I may have it a bit to high. If they aren't using it in the morning I can make the tote sit in lower.

It is my attempt at cleaner water as well as enough water that I am not refilling 4 times a day.

Ok that looks great! It’s just a tub with holes? Also, how long do you think they would last for 2 ducks?

Not sure since I just made it. It is a tote about 5-6" deep I used a jig saw to cut the holes.
My hope is I can clean it each morning. I KNOW they will make it gross so clean water every day whether it is empty or not.
