haha, come on over! although, i barely had enough zucchini! my crop was a HUGE flop. i got maybe couple dozen this year and i usually get 20x that amount! its been a horrible harvesting season!
our sweet corn was damaged by hail and wind a few weeks ago and by pesty (sp?) deer. we planted about 2 small rows of sweet corn (about 24 plants) and we may be lucky to get a dozen and half ears. our tomatoes started great, but as the heat set-in, they started to get that bottom rot. i was able to salvage the plants and theyre now producing decent fruit. our broccoli was the only thing that did extremely well this year and i always had problems growing it in the past. so go figure.
Who'd ever think cukes could have a bad year but I've heard of it. Usually so many you can't give them all away. The deer get in our hay fields and take a toll, so I can only imagine what they'd do in the corn. Glad your toms are ok now. Toms are harvested way early or in the fall/winter here since it's so hot. Wouldn't you know it, the least likely does best, but yum, fresh broccoli...and bet those ears you do get are gonna be sweet!
