Making hens broody???

Is it easy to get a hen to go broody?? Can't you coax them with fake eggs. Or is it a bad idea??

You can not really make a hen go broody, it's a hormone thing in the hen that makes her want to be broody. Some breeds go broody all the time others dont at all.
