I don't soak them so much as drop them in a shallow container of water so they fall apart a little. I'm going to try giving the next ones dry and see what happens.
My chickens like the forage cakes I got from Resolve but I don't think my ducks have even looked at them. So I will probably have to break them up to get them to eat them but worth a try. Then maybe after they get use to them they'll eat them while solid give them something to do especially in the winter.
