I've been reading this site for a year to gain chicken insight, and decided to join in on the fun.
Almost 2 weeks ago, we brought home our 3 new chicks. Alice is an Australorp, Hazel is a Silver Laced Wyandotte, and Penny is a Buff Orpington. See them over there <--? Awwww... My husband, 2 young kids, and I have chicken crushes now. One of Hazel's first mini-flights was to my knee, where she got comfy.
We're finishing coop plans, thanks to all of the ideas and feedback here.
