Making Lemonade [Selective Culling Project - very long term]

Not yet, got busy this weekend doing other things, then started a mass deworming regimen. So it didn't seem wise. Using Safeguard, treating everyone - chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats.

Possibly just me, but 4 days into treatment, I'd swear their shells are thinner - though whether thats a side effect of the Fenben or maybe my local mill was a little short calcium this batch, I couldn't tell you. I used Levamasole to deworm last time.

The oyster shell is still being mostly ignored - I should probably get some fresh.

When they have crushed egg shells, I think my girls totally ignore the oyster shell. Maybe I just never see them peck at it...? They sure don't eat much.

What kind of worms? Knock on wood, I've never had to treat for any kind.

There was a single poop that looked a bit like I imagine a threadworm or three (not more than that), and a few tiny white dots (I wasn't wearing classes - i usually don't) that could have have been ringworm segments.

But am I certain of worms??? Nope, absolutely not. Nor is this something I do routinely, but we've had tons of rain, I have the new rabbits on property, a bunch of migratory birds are moving through, and the temps have warmed. SO much is now a positive for parasite potential that I reflexively treated on seeing something suspicious. Last treatment (the Levam) was around December when I first got the rabbits.

Birds going to the neighbor (4). These are what, 18 days now?
