and here is the picture of !Nom Decimus (P01-03) I promised yesterday.
That's "Pretty Boy" (Sneezy from P01-02) in the background, right, and an SLW approaching one year of age at left.
Yes, I still have green in my (second) run. That's dogfennel, purple passion fruit vine, St. Augustine grass, bluegrass, moss phlox, flax, marsh cudweed, ponysfoot, and probably some ragwort in there, too!
There's another Brahma Mama hen from P01-03, smaller than !Nom Novem, which is why I didn't weigh her yesterday, !N7. As of last candling, there are nine eggs progressing in the incubator, due in 4 days +/-, which will begin P02-01, "Pretty Boy" over... Based on shell color, two of the mamas are Comets, one *might* be the CornishX (though it hints cream), and the other six are indistinguishable pale tan (beige?) which I've come to associate with my Brahma and my Silver Laced. I really should vent check Sleepy to see if she is producing, she's 22 weeks now...
