So how do the duck eggs look?

Chicken eggs. All 12 were fertile, and coming along, though I expected more development by this point, they all seem roughly equally far along. They seem to be in the day 8-10 range. I think I should be closer to day 12. Need to check the calendar - though they were harvested over a couple days, so my math is likely wrong.

Duck picks in other thread - once I get back from the store. Things to do before it gets too hot, and need a trip to the store before I can do them...

It's dark, and happening fast. Two hatches so far.

Couple overnight as expected, a few more pipped. Will try and get a decent picture later. So far two yellow tending towards white (pale yellow?) with faded chipmunk markings on the back and two yellow tending towards brown with more distinct chip munk markings on the back.

No white, no black. So far, this is quite the success.

Productive night. Count is now 6, and I hear pips from a 7th, working its way out.

Excuse me, count is seven, peeps from an eighth. My wife must have moved one from incubator to brooder box last night after I fell asleep.
