Making Lemonade [Selective Culling Project - very long term]

Do you then can it?
Doesn't last long enough. We'll jar it hot into large pickle jars, stick in it the back of the fridge, use it in the next 10 days.

and I was optimistic. we have maybe 10qt, not 12 - so we'll cook down to around 7 qt +/-. Make some egg noodles, do a veggie soup w/ chicken meatballs with about 1/2 to 2/3 of it. Egg drop or hot and sour soup with the rest.

If only they lived on wood chips, I'd have a successful pattern!

I'd take some of your rain, gladly!

It's not as bad as last year/year before last, but I'm getting a bit nervous about how dry it seems to be. And chances of rain that dwindle and disappear. The half inch/one inch of rain was under a quarter. The Sunday rain might not happen.

Then I see the evening news with tornados, floods, fires, hail, etc, and know I have no reason to complain.

I can't complain, but sometimes I still do
Life's been good to me so far.

Joe Walsh was a wise man.

1"+ over the last few days. Good chance of dry tomorrow, hoping to repair the trailer wiring harness then make it to the hardware big box for plywood for repairs... have LOTS of alternatives on my to do list if it does rain.
