wasn't he on his way out anyways?
Well I'm glad you were able to find them a permanent temporary home.He became super aggressive when we put the fence up. Good for the girls.. Bad for us.. So yes. I think it's a good thing.
Pits have been getting the chitty end of the stick forever, and it's not fair. What about Dobermans, or German Shepherds, or Rottweilers? With few exceptions, dogs are a product of environment & training. Unfortunately, Pits are often trained to be aggressive, partly from mistreatment. I've heard of many that are real sweethearts, although my brother had one he'd raised from a pup with no problems, then had to be put down when he attacked the grandchild in the crib...something snapped somewhere. Most folks are scared of the breed in general because of a relative few bad ones.Well no call back frim the house we were hopeful for... But we will see. Big things are bound to happen. One of our issues is that oly is a so called dangerous breed. The wife agreed to meet her but she said her hubby had to agree... I might just call everyone tomorrow I see a listing for...
Good deal! I was hoping you'd work out a deal like that.Ohhhh don't know if I shared this. Found a good home for my girls with the stipulation Jerry becomes stew... The good news is I can take them back if and when I want to except little Jerry.... Jerry is toast...

For that matter, my folks had an Irish Setter that I didn't trust as far as I could throw it; typical show-bred snappiness.
That is a health issue that is caused by in breeding... The brain surpasses the growth of the skull.. Oly is long in years and is to tired to do such things and she is an American pit not in breed which doesn't have that skull problem.... But people don't know the difference....
