How'd you like Panama? Well when you come this direction to hit New York stop by and have a cup of coffee. That is correct.... I lived in Panama.. which was awesome and Germany... but never been further north on the East coast than South Carolina.
Can't get further east than SC w/o getting wet. MD's got some pretty country in places; I'm fortunate enough to own a little piece of it. I once lived 40 miles from NYC. Been there twice; don't care to go again...too many people, too many cars, too much concrete. Get away from the city, though, and there's a lot of pretty country upstate. No, the furthest east I went was South Carolina.. 6 years there and 3 in Georgia.. I want to go.. I also want to see New York at some point in my life.
for sure, my next trip is to Iowa to see my gramps then up through Chicago and North Dakota to come home.. but I am going to go to New York at some point. I lOOOOOOVEEEED Panama.. I experienced more than most people do at my young age. My most favorite spot to live.. I lived there during the evasion.. Left in 86 and moved to Washington. How'd you like Panama? With real estate as expensive as it is, it's tough these days, but you'll find a place, if you want it bad enough; just keep working on it. I couldn't afford to buy my place today if my life depended on it.Im trying to move out of the suburbs right now.. harder than it sounds. but it will happen.
When I talk to Granny and others that live further East, they say that the land is much cheaper than what we have here... they also claim that gas and other essentials are a quarter of what I spend... I know we live in a spot that seems to be in the middle of no where... and everything seems out of reach, but I have that drive... afterall where would I put all my birds without it?With real estate as expensive as it is, it's tough these days, but you'll find a place, if you want it bad enough; just keep working on it.
