Thanks.Gorgeous!! Mine are growing like weeds.
I had an extremely unfortunate mishap last night though. Went to change their water and the little roo jumped out of the brooder... right as hubby let our two big dogs inside. Needless to say, I'm now "roo-less"![]()
Thanks.
That stinks. Are you planning to get a new cockerel?
I'm in Michigan, & have extra cockerels. Not immediately. I only need one roo, and shipping it from Ohio to Texas probably wouldn't be a good idea. If I end up being able to take my Michigan trip to visit the kids and grandbabies, I might try to meet up with DV and see if he has any. That was my original plan to begin with. I had 3 beautiful teenager Malays being held for me to pick up, but ended up being diagnosed with MS a few weeks ago, so getting treatment set up and underway kind of took priority. That's how I ended up with the younger birds, he was able to ship them to me.
I usually drive up there a couple times a year, but haven't visited since Covid hit. Really missing the kids and grandbabies. They all love mid-way between Port Huron and Detroit. MS is Multiple Sclerosis. Yes, I still have the "odd" Malay roo. Still not sure about him though, and don't really want to use him as a breeder. I have a massive and female Indio Gigante as well.I'm in Michigan, & have extra cockerels.
That's unfortunate. I forget, what does MS stand for?
At least you got more peeps.
