Malay Chick Growth Thread

The Malays hit a growth spurt, & are almost out grown their small coop already. Giving them one more week before swapping them to the Bantam coop before moving on to the Mixed Flock Coop for temporary housing until I can build their own coop.

My one cockerel is twice the size of the other's, so I'm thinking accidental Indio Gigante, or Indio Gigante mix.

The guy who I'm gonna be getting the Malay pullets from has both BB Red, & Wheaten hens.

Getting the Pullets tomorrow, & two cockerels are getting a new home .

Got my 3 week old pullets. One is Red Wheaten, & the other is Wheaten X Black.

I'll take pictures of the Gals tomorrow.

I gave them a health check, & all looks good. Eyes are normal, no discharge/Bubbles, no nasal discharge, skin looks good, no crackling when they breathe. Good, & healthy.


They have 5 baby Turkey friends, which they actually like.

Here are the Malays, the Bantams were making it difficult because they would chase the Malays around. So I took several pictures.
