Well, my original plans were ruined today. Dad had, me, & my sister weeding the garden, so I couldn't measure the Malays, or work on the pen.

Here are the Malays at 12½ weeks. Turning 13 weeks next Friday.

Before the Malays get moved out, the Mixed Flock coop needs a good cleaning. This is only temporary until the Malays get their own coop.

I had my Malays in with a mixed flock before I moved them to their own coop as well. One of the cockerels became best buds with a little psychotic Cochin Bantam Frizzle cockerel that was his roommate. Now he's constantly trying to escape so he can get back to the pen with his little buddy. Kinda makes me feel bad.

That's kind of funny how that happened. So far nobody's buddies with any of the Bantams.

Picked up my largest Malay cockerel today. He feels like 7-8lbs already. I named him Goliath.
