Cedarcreek,
That is going to be tough unless you keep them about 6 months to see how they feather out and develop. I don't know much about the OEGB's but if they mature later, that could be helpful but you would still need to keep them all for months. Breeds that can be so similar should always be kept separate if you're planning to breed.

TsaLaGi Acres,
Thanks, the egg looks good but it might or might not survive to hatching. My little A sized hen, Dovey, is setting it for me. Once it pips, I'll bring it in to finish hatching. The cage she's in has chicken wire and a chick the size this one will be could walk upright through chicken wire. Plus, I want Dovey to get in shape for some fall laying. The little A sized rooster is obviously fertile now so Dovey will get to live with him too. A single chick is always harder to raise, I had a couple of bantam Araucana/Serama mix eggs in the incubator but they were not fertile. My little bantam Araucana produces the sweetest, softest feathered (satiny) little chickens out of my Serama roos. They stay small too and would have made a good companion for this little loner. I've tried day old standard chicks to raise a single Serama with once the Serama is a couple weeks old but they outgrow them much to fast for it to work. I may see about a couple small bantam chicks from the hatchery like silkies if this one hatches and survives a week or so. I am expecting it will be pretty small.

got my first two eggs pippin, dont know if its serama or old english...but will soon enough...

From what all I can see on these pic's you are def' going to need to cull both pullets and roo #2 .... they are def' showing problems and I know you don't want that so just send them this way ok?? I mean really too much cuteness IS a problem right?? Just send them over here

Those are some seriously cute babies!!!

Chickenaddict,
I have a pullet the same color as your last one, I'm kind of anxious to see what her mature color will be, it seems the pullets don't change nearly as much as the little roos. That one that your calling chocolate looks just like one I had that matured to be black. I was shocked at how another little roo was so colorful and matured to be black too, they were so different at age 3 or 4 months compared to 6+ months old. You would swear it isn't the same one at all.

Thanks guys

, I know they are not the best pics, I haven't got to really handle them a whole lot (overprotective first time mama hen) So none of them are posing. That boy with the chocolate just keeps getting more and more brown on him as he gets older, his chest is light brown barred. I hatched out a brown pullet a few years back and she finished out jet black (pic below) I have a feeling the pullet in the last pic is gonna be a lunker. She is already quite big for her age. I will make final cuts at 6 months old just so I don't kick myself in the rear for selling a bird that turned out really nice, been there done that lol.

This is ebony the hen who hatched out brown and finished black, shes camera shy but doesn't hesitate to strike a pose

Thanks Smoothmule and Racuda for the advise.
All of their tails look the same to me. I guess I will have to keep these guys for a while.
