No shes not. Jessi said she would grow a little more in the next couple of months. I love how tiny she is!

well I have a lil shocker for ya'll I have a not quite 5 month old hen thats in with a roo the same age, shes been laying eggs since she was 4 months old. Eggs are a lil bigger than quail eggs, shes setting them now about 8 all together.. Candled today figured it was crazy enough that shes setting and laying surely to goodness the roosters not fertile... WELL.... The 2 eggs I candled are growin like lil weeds???? Crazy! never seen one lay and set and have a roo fertile at 4 months old...

Is egg binding a common problem in Seramas? I have one that's looking lethargic, that has a very full feeling abdomen. Any way to be sure that is the issue before I try to help her out?

I'm sure there is plenty of info right here on BYC, but I thought I'd check with the Serama experts first.

I personally have never had an issue like that with my serama hens. Maybe she's got a double yolker cookin up there? What I have done for a few other hens I have had with that problem is soak them in a warm tub and try to see if you can't get that egg out of there by massaging her down there. The warm water helps relax their muscles. Best of luck to you and your hen
