If You Have 2 Long-legged Birds That Carry The Gene, Will It Be Possible For It To Be Lethal,in Other Words,is It A Hidden Gene,or Do You Have To Have An Obviously Short-legged Bird?

Just thought I would share...Here's a picture I took today of my boy Leo and a couple of his girls. He has filled out nicely, has a short little back and is just turning a year old, now if I could just him over his molt.

The little hen in the back is one of my favorites coming in a whopping 9oz. I sure hope to hatch some of her eggs from him.

Depending on how he looks in a couple of weeks I may take him to a local poultry show??

Well just hatched our first ever home grown (test) egg. It is my oldest girls fourth ever egg. The first three made it to lockdown I think, then died in shell. This guy is yellow with a black area on his back going up toward his head. Now that I know they work, moving on to wait for my bluegrass eggs to hatch and see what my younger birds are going to mature like.

I officially dislike the post office. My seramas were supposed to come by 3 pm today by Express Mail---are they here? NO.
Probably tomorrow, but stupid P.O.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
