This is the little one taken just a little while ago - drying off quite nicely. It is not as rambunctious as Zephyr was, took its own sweet time coming out of the egg and is lounging about. I hope that is not a bad sign. It's been a long time since I've hatched babies.

We take "chick naps" together in my retreat room where I just set up its cage. I guess it is our retreat room now! As my daughter said, we have nice chickens, all handled and very friendly - even our other house chickens are nice, but this one is just different. It doesn't think its a chicken lol. My husband just shakes his head and keeps saying "this is bad, really really bad"
