So adorable and I'm so jealous! I have been trying to hatch a frizzle since December...no luck yet, but I have two eggs in the incubator that are frizzled so I'm hoping

I have over a dozen booted ones too this time so I'm hoping for at least one! No silkied this season so I think I'm going to have to break down and buy a pullet if I want one.

Waiting is the hardest part

As far as the colors, everyone I've had hatch out buff colored have had some sort of brown in them. A few did hatch buff but then dried to white.

I need to get my lazy self out there and go fix up the brooder...I think they would try alot faster if they had a heat lamp on them. I think they're not drying off because the humidity in the Brinsea is so high.

I had that same problem with my Brinsea so I pulled them out and within an hour they were all fluffy. Can't wait for more photos

I'm going to have to have to keep them in my Quail House, we're having a Swing Dance/Civil War Dance this Saturday, and we have alot of company coming over...I can't even keep them in the back room.

Perhaps, Monday I can bring them inside...we will see.

I'm a little worried though, it's suppost to get cold again in a few days. It's been 80 for the past few days, but a cold front is on it's way...

Wonderful! How many eggs are left to hatch? On what day did they hatch, so I know to keep an eye out. I'm down to 13 eggs, two with blood rings on day 11. Really hoping the fact that I picked them up instead of having them shipped helped their chances!!

Two eggs haven't hatched yet, but are chirping. Today is day 21 - one hatch yesterday night ( day 20 ).

I'd say keep an eye out around day 19-20
I didn't hear any chirping etc until like yesterday morning.

The lady I got them from ( amyquilt on BYC ) only lives two hours away from me so they weren't in the mail long. Only took 1 day to get to me.
