~MALAYSIAN SERAMA THREAD~ (PICS!!!)

This is my latest hatch (2 weeks old now! - my how times flies...) with their new cage mate, a 3 day old EE! I take in the weak and/or injured chicks from my feed store and I got the call to pick up this one tonight. She was just overrun in their big tub of chicks (450 today!) and needed food and water. After some baby parrot formula, vitamins and water, she is doing great tonight, running around thinking she is a Serama

She will quickly outgrow them, but for now it's working.

PS: I finally got my silkied Serama from this hatch! I'm so excited...I noticed the different feathers tonight and almost jumped for joy lol. I'm sure it is a roo but that's ok, I'm thrilled!

Lol I was just thinking tonight that I haven't taken any photos of Zephyr as promised. I have been running around like crazy with my daughter's 18th birthday last week, losing my baby Mischa last night and tomorrow my daughter is getting her wisdom teeth out, but while she resting in the afternoon I'm going to update my photos. All my babies - not just my Seramas - are huge! My little NNs and Frizzles....so adorable too

Tomorrow I'll post some photos

I always tell my buyers and the 4H kids what the faults on the birds are. My main goal is to breed for a few good birds to compete at shows here in the west coast.

I brought him in to improve the tail and back in my flock. Yes, I trim him cuz his comb got beaten up badly by the cocoapop rooster.
